2026 - Astro

• Migrated from custom build system to Astro 6.
• Moved hosting from Cloudflare to Vercel.
• Tailwind CSS v4 with design tokens, light and dark themes.
• Email subscription via Buttondown.
• Image gallery with justified layout and lightbox.
• AVIF images with JPEG fallback for broad compatibility.
• KaTeX for math formulas.
• OG images auto-generated per post.

2024 - Custom build system

• Built a custom static site generator using TypeScript and Bun.
• Bilingual support (English / Russian).
• All images converted to AVIF.
• Hosted on Cloudflare.
• Moved to the domain grishy.dev.

2020 - Gatsby.js

• Transitioned to Gatsby.js.
• Hosted on GitHub Pages.

2018 - Hugo & scripts

• File-based approach with Hugo.
• Post-processing in JavaScript for code highlighting.

2015 - Ghost platform

• Migrated to Ghost with static page generation via wget.
• Hosted on GitHub Pages.

2013 - Plain HTML & WordPress

• Created the first static site on GitHub Pages.
• Purchased the domain grishy.ru.
